Our cabin in located in the Spring Creek RV Resort, making it the perfect place to come during the winter to get away from the cold temps of the north as well as enjoying the warm summers in Arizona. The park is small with less than 80 RV spaces. Our cabin is the only private rental in the park. The park has a clubhouse that has cable TV and a pool table that is available for anyone staying in the park. Bathrooms with shower facilities and a laundromat are also located at the clubhouse. The clubhouse is a great gathering place for the afternoon happy hour during the winter months and potluck dinners in the summer months. Spring Creek RV Resort is located behind the Spring Creek Store where you can find everything from beer to butter. Gas and diesel are also sold here and it is the only place other than the Marina to buy fuel. Across the street is the Roosevelt post office and next to the store is Boston's Lake House Bar & Grill. All a very short walk from the cabin. Our cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed and there is a fold out sofa bed in the living room. There is a full kitchen complete with all the pots, pans, and cooking utensils needed to enjoy your stay. The TV in the living area is complete with Satellite TV so you can stay up to date with all the sports and HBO specials. The 600 SF covered deck is a great place to relax after a long day on the lake or enjoy a summer monsoon. The concrete driveway is large enough to leave a 24' boat connected to your tow vehicle. We prefer a month or at the minimum 15 nights Two years ago we actually rented this house, and loved it. When we came back this year it was on the market. We had “Bonded” and luckily we were able to purchase it. It is a great cozy home, easy to keep clean, yet set up to enjoy with visiting friends and family. The great thing about Rio Verde is the variety of things to do. From a wonderful art program, and art group, to country dancing, exercise groups, tap, swimming and water exercise, bridge, this spot has it all. You will never get tired of being in Rio Verde. Randy loves it for the golf, but also because he can hop on his mountain bike and take off for McDowell Mountain Park, adjacent to Rio Verde, and enjoy an easy or challenging ride. Our friends ride road bikes, there Are a whole group to ride with and a bike lane just outside the entrance to Rio that will take you to Fountain Hills for coffee. Horseback riding, less than a mile away, lots of classes, bridge, country swing, You name it. This is not an 80's sprawling McMansion...!! It is a modest home just steps from the golf course, offers two full bedrooms, one king, one queen bed + a fold out couch for the grandkids. A 700 sq foot flagstone front porch great you into a home designed for entertainment. Flagstone and timber construction throughout -the builder spared no expense when he built this home for himself. That said, this house is not suitable for infants or toddlers due to dozens of steps indoor and out, and a pool that is not fenced separately from the backyard. Four king beds upstairs. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a pull-out single. Two of the bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom. The basement has a full bath. In the finished basement, there are two queen beds including one queen/twin bunk and a pull-out twin (total of four beds). The queen/single bunk is in a basement bedroom with full bath. The other 3 beds are all in the same room. The outdoor patio covers 800 sq feet of shaded area and 1400 sq ft of cool-crete in front of the pool. The 3rd, southern porch shades 400 sq ft. No matter what time of the day, you can find a shaded outdoor retreat. Recent upgrade; a massive charcoal/propane grill combo and outdoor sink have been upgraded for the outdoor chef. The 38,000 gallon pool can be heated at your request. A six-person hot tub will be ready upon your arrival. For safety, the propane fireplaces are for aesthetics only, and not operational. The house has a 3 car garage but only one space available (I keep a car and work truck there). I live one hour away in case there is any contingency. Fresh linens, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee -everything you would find at a hotel is at your disposal. The house has a new washer/dryer and new dishwasher (2019). A fully-stocked kitchen contains pots, pans, spices, cutlery and dishes. Due to literally being on the side of Superstition Mountain, I brought in high-speed internet via a wireless business-grade internet connection. And the DirecTV subscription includes all sports including NFL, NHL, MLB, PGA and spring training coverage. But you won't want to be watching TV when you could be enjoying the warm afternoon breeze in the middle of January. Guests enjoy full access, except only the guests that are staying at the home are allowed. Large parties would not be suitable for the neighborhood due to the gravel road passing closely by my neighbors. More than a few cars are going to create a stir. Besides this rule, enjoy the 5 acres! The property even has it's own walking trails. The backyard is huge and fully fenced, but please keep an eye out for javelina, coyote's, bobcats, linx, rattlers and birds of prey. The swimming pool does not have a separate fence, so please watch your children around the water and keep backyard doors locked.
